The Fraternal Association of Professional Paramedics Local 1 would like to congratulate Cory O'Connor on his victory in the 2025 Mayoral Primary for the City of Pittsburgh. Cory has secured the Democratic Party nomination for Mayor of Pittsburgh. Cory has a vision for the future of Pittsburgh that encompasses the needs of all the citizens and visitors of Pittsburgh and that will create affordable housing, jobs, and a more safe city to live in. His dedication specifically to addressing the critical needs of our Public Safety Department is vital to creating a more safe and secure city for all those who visit or call Pittsburgh home. 

We would also like to congratulate Kevin Kraus for securing the Democratic nomination for Allegheny County Sheriff. Kevin has a long and dedicated history of service to Law Enforcement and understands the complexities of policing and providing security to the community. Kevin has proven his dedication to working with the community and engaging them in their needs and delivering valuable services. He has proven the capacity to work as a partner to other law enforcement agencies and has partnered with multiple organizations to deliver needs to the community and charitable events beyond the typical scope of law enforcement.
